A driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or preferred place of residence after your breakfast and you will embark on a 9-10hrs journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park which will take you through the Equator region and Lake Mburo National Park with great chances of seeing zebras on the way grazing. You will have a 1hr lunch break in Mbarara at Agip Motel and continue driving through Kabale with great scenic views of the Hills also called the Switzerland of Uganda. Continue to Kisoro town for an overnight at your preferred lodge.

After you breakfast, you will continue in to Mgahinga Forest for briefing about Gorilla trekking experience thereafter head for Gorilla trekking. This is the most breathtaking once awhile lifetime experience activity done in the park and it is only Nyakagezi gorilla group that is tracked in this park. Gorilla tracking starts in the morning where by the trackers start from Ntebeko to track these giants. The time of tracking could be 2 hours, 4 hours or a day since it is dependent on the location of the mountain gorillas. Afternoon coffee tour, this is one of the most amazing community experiences that takes you through from coffee plantation to brewery.

Today is dedicated for a Volcano climbing in Mgahinga National Park. The Bafubira and Batwa (pygmies) people dominate this region. The mountain has afro-montane vegetation with cool climate and a large bamboo area. Mgahinga volcano acts as a better view point offering great views of the 3-countries Uganda, Rwanda and Congo on clear days without clouds and mist. you will be able to see lake Edward in Queen Elizabeth National park, Burundi and some peaks of Rwenzori mountain.

You will be driven back to Kampala/Hotel or Entebbe Airport for your onward flight late in the evening.
